Hello, I use macOS mainly because I have an iPhone and Apple apps integrate really seamlessly between devices. But one bit is still missing for me: I can't use Handoff and Continuity features. I've already got a WiFi PCIe card, the wonderful Asus PCE-AC56, and it works great, but it's BCM4352-based, which means no Bluetooth. My question is, could I just supplement it with some separate Bluetooth card/USB adapter, or do I need one of those wireless cards based on specific Apple-approved chipsets?

BT4LE is required.

I'm sorry, but I really can't find any explicit answer to my question. I just want to know whether a simple Asus USB dongle (a BT LE one, of course) would make Handoff and Continuity work. My WiFi card is currently displayed as an AirPort Extreme one.
