Looking at Everymac.com it seems these macs are the closest:

As far as CPU PM things look fine (AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement appears to be loading...)

But AppleLPC is not loading. You need to find a DSDT patch for that...

Well, is it sufficient to change the name of the system in smbios.plist? or do I need to do more to get it correct?

Would that not loading prevent the computer from hibernating/sleeping properly?
