What is the manufacturer of the trackpad is in your laptop?
 
Synaptics trackpad.
Also tested, wifi isn't working
But Bluetooth is working perfectly
Sent and received file perfectly.
Ethernet also working fine.
Just need to setup wifi but the lappy doesn't have any
Slot or other thing...

Also wot should I check for proper power management
Other then sleep.

For trackpad, google 'rehabman voodoops2 github synaptics'

For WiFi, what wifi chipset is in your laptop?

See sticky at top of this forum for power management.
 
for wifi, my lappy uses n2230!!

searching for the trackpad now..
 
i downloaded the voodoops2 zip file.
found 3 files in it.
installed teh kext file using kextbeast,
copied the plist file to launchdaemon,,
but couldnt find usr/bin folder where i have 2 copy, the daemon file...

P.s. Ok got it. Successfully working sleep as well now
Trackpad also working fine after waking from sleep.
Will test more tomorrow morning and reply.

Now wifi, audio and battery is left.
Tomorrow target battery.
Also needed to know, can I use voodoo audio for audio drivers??

If n2230 is Intel, then not supported. As far as my voodoo ps2, instructions are linked in the readme.

Audio: Best result with patched AppleHDA. Google 'patch AppleHDA guide'. Search for suitable AppleHDA or patch it yourself. Apply appropriate DSDT patches.

WiFi: Depends on having compatible hardware. Use DPCIManager->PCI List to find out what you have. Compatible chipsets and the procedures for making them work are covered here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/104850-guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.html
 
the trackpad problem is solved perfectly. working nicely now...
even after sleep..

its intel n2230 wifi card.

so its not compatable,,,

can i fit pcie card in my lappy... no slot available...as far as i can see..???
 
buddy,,,
my ethernet was showing perfectrly along with bluetooth when i installed 2 days back....
used rtl81xx patch from multibeast
but today when i opened to test it,,,
it wasnt there.......
did v patch something that could have removed the ethernet????

needed to know which kext to install for,
Atheros AR9271
and
Realtek RTL8101E
(also tried RTL8139 wala kext in multibeast, it detected the lan card, but wasnt able to detect the network (just cable unplugged)
