I put everything together without too many issues. I also ordered a Bluetooth module but made the mistake of ordering the BT211 instead of the BT21. (Have ordered the DB-120, just waiting) A lot of idiot mistakes happened during initial BIOS. Again this is my first build. Used Unibeast, Lion didn't recognize hard drives, had to go back to set to 64bit and AHCI. Installed Lion, ran MultiBeast, and must have chose some options that weren't correct, was getting kernel panics everywhere. Reinstalled and used the following settings. (Also chose MacMini, sorry about picture have crap Windows keyboard while I wait for BT)

Everything runs fine including sleep, just haven't checked sound, at the moment it doesn't matter. It boots and the only issue I ran into is when I did a software update, my BIOS reset itself and had to repair disk permission. Thank you all for your help and thank you TonyMac!

I have the same setup. My BIOS is at F8. Do I need to downgrade to F6? The DSDT on file is for F6. Or will that DSDT work on F8?

I haven't tried it. I flashed to F6 and it works for me.

i can confirm Bios F8 works with this set up
Z68X-UD3H-B3
Saphire HD6850
16gig Corsair XMS3

I did a clean Lion install using Tonys Unibeast USB thumb drive method + F8 DSDT

everything went really smooth compared to an install i did a month before using the snow leopard upgrade method.
Then i just had to run Multibeast Lion edition to get network and sound working

the only thing that took me a while to sort was Dual screen with the HD6850, ended up having to use the top DVI and the Display port to get dual screen working

hope that helps

i have the same motherboard and cpu but my sleep doesn't work properly.
i am able to wake the computer from sleep with the keyboard, but after its up the usb input devices dont work. i have to unplug them and plug them back in.
WOL doesn't seem to work either but i haven't done extensive troubleshooting on that yet.
waiting on the Cooler Master H212 cooler so i can overclock this puppy

if anyone had issues with the sleep or wol with this setup please share how you solved them. i have been lurking in the forums trying to find solutions, and the only one that has worked so far was the fix to prevent cmos from resetting after sleep.

I think there is a usb issue after wake from sleep with all the GA-Z68X Boards!
Look here:

I hope someone can help us with this issue!

Best regards

I am still waiting for my memory and ssd to get here...

What bluetooth device seems to be the best - anyone using one that is not a problem?

This site is awesome!

I haven't had a single issue with sleep or usb not working on this board. I have a moderate over clock of 4.3 Ghz and I bench close to 1300! Seriously though no issues with sleep. The audio works as well, the only problem I have with it is that it makes a slight popping sound when starting off. Also waiting to get a DP to DVI adapter to try 3 monitors.

Has anyone with this board tried to use the HDMI port on the MB? Just got this, hoping not to have to buy a discrete GPU...
