Hi Jacklefrost,

Components look fine, but be aware of the following:

CPU has HD2500 graphics - not supported

GPU not the easiest to get running - use the search facility (top right of page and put the model number in to it) see other member problems and be comfortable about doing before buying/setting up

HDD may have Boot 0 issue, see guide to fix: http://www.tonymacx86.com/25-boot0-error-official-guide.html

Good Luck

thanks for the advice. ill do some more searching on the gpu and i looked over the hard drive error and it doesn't really look like a hard fix. but one more thing, do you think this will fix the hd 2500 compatibility issue http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QF6pgrog31M
also what is wrong with the cpu i picked, not booting, not installing os, or not loading the unibeast flash drive at all

Not everyone has got that HD2500 running (its not supported by Apple - it mostly works, but people say it work flawlessly - it doesn't, nor does it have accelerated graphics, OK for text perhaps, but a $30 GPU is far better. Your 7850 may or may not be supported - so do double check this properly. Apple are using Nvidia on the latest iMacs, so these cards are working.

Not sure how running two operating systems on one HDD might give you problems with the Boot 0 problem - that will have an affect across the whole disc I would think - its not an issue for windows though.

I read a few recent articles saying that apple released a 10.8.3 update that now supports hd2500 graphics
