Can't pair BT keyboard

Hi,

I have a Logitech Keyboard Cover that I use with an iPad and a hackintosh. It worked fine with both until last night, but now it won't pair to the hackintosh. When I hit the "Pair" button, OS X says "passkey did not match", which is weird considering the fact that I wasn't even asked to enter a password. Hell, I even reinstalled OS X out of frustration, but that didn't help. Why won't Mavericks ask me for the password instead of just saying that the password (I never entered) is wrong?

try turning off bluetooth on iPad and see if it works on Hack...r just turn off iPad

That didn't work. What worked was removing the keyboard from the bluetooth list on the hack and then re-adding it.
