Firstly, you can install Catalina. Take a look at the beta guide, it tells you how to proceed with the full version.

copied a clover USB catalina on usb mohava, everything booted normally. why catalina doesn’t want to install with this clover I won’t understand

I have same problem on Catalina installation at Z170 (cpu: i7-8700) mainboard, but I stuck on
on "virtual IOReturn CoreAnalyticsUserClient::clientMemoryFor Type(UInt32, IOOptionBits *........,"
is any possible to share your EFI for reference? or any your experiment sharing is appreciated.
