Hello. I am new to this and having trouble trying to install Yosemite on my machine.
My setup is as follow:
GA-Q77M-D2H
i3 3.50Ghz Ivy Bridge
16Gb RAM
Internal Graphics
BIOS F2
I have gone through the BIOS and followed multiple "how-tos" but have not found the option to disable Vd-t. I have read that some don't have Vd-t option and to just ignore it, but I have found the boot dart=0 to disable it if it's present. Unfortunately I have had no success and the screen hangs with this:
A lot of people experiencing this problem seem to fix this with Multibeast, but my impression is that you need to have the OS installed on the computer before you can use Multibeast.
I'm going to try and install Mavericks and see if there's any difference, but would prefer to have Yosemite.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
