Hello,

When attempting to boot in safe mode (-x) I get the warning:

can't find /mach_kernel
Press any key to continue...

Upon pressing 'any key' I am returned to the bootloader menu. The system boots as normal with any other flag.

I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this issue.

I'm having that too, tried /System/Library/Kernels/Kernel when booting and almost instantly the loading stops on System uptime in nanoseconds: "number". With a lot of kexts errors.

If you have a working back up of mavericks, go to the hdd of Yosemite S/L/K and rename to mach_kernel
and you will be able to boot. Install multibeast and then change back S/L/K to kernel.

Not sure if this will help but I had /mach_kernel problem this morning. What fixed it for me was making sure my Unibeast install Key was set to MBR and to boot directly from it by using the F12 and selecting it.

Previously I was going through to chimera and selecting the key, this doesn't work!

Hope this helps
