Hey, this is my current build:

MSI Z77A-G43
Core i7 3770K @ 4,3 Ghz
NVIDIA 8600 GTS
16 GB DDR3-1600 Corsair Vengeance LP
120 GB Sandisk Extreme SSD
2 TB WD Caviar Green

It is running very stable so far ... I am using a modified BIOS to enable SpeedStepping and sleep, no DSDT is being used. I did install using UniBeast and everything else done manually. But it's pretty close to a UserDSDT installation without DSDT. I'm only using Chimera, MacPro 3,1 SMBIOS, FakeSMC, Toleda's patched AppleHDA, HDAEnabler and Lnx2Mac's for Ethernet.

Working:

- Ethernet
- Audio (I am getting some errors in kernel.log but it's working)
- iCloud, iTunes, AppStore
- SpeedStepping

Partially working:

- Sleep (when waking up I get my password prompt but can't do anything except moving my cursor while having the beach ball)
- USB3 (USB3 ports are working but when I plug anything into a USB2 port my system instantly crashes)

It's running very well for me, first installed 10.7.3 with bridgehelper and then 10.7.4 and eventually installed the darwin 11.4.2 vanilla kernel and new kexts manually (i didn't use bridgehelper 5.0 as it wasn't available yet when I did it)

Minimal fuss, I do not use a DSDT or SSDT. And since the ivy bridge interim audio kext, my sound is working well too. All my USB ports work, but USB 3.0 is working at 2.0 speeds. Sleep and wake works perfectly. Full QE/CI and the video card just worked properly. OpenCL works fine in Adobe CS6. Had it running for 2+ weeks without a reboot as well.

Only other thing I can't get working is speedstep. It just swings back and forth from 16 and 40.

My specs

3770k @4.0Ghz
GA-Z77X-UD5H
Diamond Radeon HD 6870 1Gb
16Gb 1600Mhz DDR3 ram
120Gb SSD for boot+programs
3x 2Tb SATA drives for storage

Only other project I have planned is to transplant it into a G5 case. Picked up a cosmetically PERFECT G5 case on craigslist for cheap and gutted it this weekend. Now just figuring out how exactly I wanna do it. Now I'm leaning towards no cutting of the backpanel and making my own ports that map to the factory cut holes for USB/Audio/Firewire/ethernet/etc. I'll prolly get a new silver vinyl sticker to cover the unused ports and update the port logo on the back. Also being able to access the factory PCIe holes from the back of the case. Other plans is a 5 drive bay with hot-swappable backplane. I'll start a new thread on all of this though when I get the chance :)

Everything was working great aside from a few things. Bios crashed and reverted back to f4 and it has caused some issues. Audio stopped working even with update, gpu is under performing. Reinstalling right now.

Current Test Rig:

ASUS P8Z77-M-Pro
Core i7 3770K @ 4,3 Ghz
Gigabyte 6850
16 GB DDR3-1600 GSkill
80 GB Intel SSD
1 TB WD Black

Everything currently working thanks to Multibeast 4.61
Thanks MacMan.

I got everything up to date and taken care of. Some strange issues with turning off the computer, maybe 30% of the time it tries to restart. Tried gutting it too and still has random restart. Wasn't doing it with bridge 4.0.

The GPU issue seems to stem from the WiFi card being installed. Model D-Link DWA-556 PCI Express Xtreme Desktop Adapter

It was the #1 recommended card to me.

About to throw it in the trash, but when in a very specific epic slot it works. But the video card messes up. Next step install windows and check how everything works.

This is my first try of building a Hackintosh. After reading and following threads here
for a month, I decide to go with Z77 chipset with new Ivy Bridge CPU when I saw
Tony updated the thread of Lion Installation Guide.

Here are my hardware list.

Z77-DS3H
i5 3570K
Cosair 16GB 1600 DDR3 (8GBx2)
Seagate 750GB (3 sata3 drives)
sata 0 -- Mac OS X
sata 1 -- Windows 7
sata 2 -- Experimental
Pioneer DVD (24X)

I did not get any graphics card, hoping HD4000 will be working just fine.

The BIOS sata mode was set to AHCI.

The Windows 7 installation on sata1 drive is working, and can be run
from Chimera boot menu.

To install Mac OS Lion, I follow the steps below

1. Get Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 from App Store
2. Prepare a 8GB USB drive
3. Create a bootable USB drive using UniBeast 1.4 - name it USB
4. Run BridgeHelper 5 targeting USB
5. Boot from USB and install Mac OS X Lion (Name the drive Lion)

I did get into the Mac OS installer, created the drive Lion and began
the installation process. The time counter started from 22 minutes
left. When it came down to 14 minutes left, it poped out a message
below.

Install Failed
Max OS X could not be installed on your computer.

The installer encounter an error that caused the installation to fail.
Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

I looked at the system information, CPU, memory, all 3 sata drives,
DVD all seemed to be recognized and worked okay. I tried to add
different flags, like -x -v, -f -v, -s -v on boot, but all got the same
Install Fail message.

I don't know how to fix this. Please help. Thanks.

*** Update on 6/27 -- Need suggestions ***

When the system got Install Failed, I found the Display from
the system information was shown as below

Type: GPU
Bus:Built-in
VRAM (Total): 64MB of Shared System Memory
Vendor: Intel (0x8086)
Device ID: (0x0162)
Revision ID: 0x0009
Kernel Extension Info: no Kext Loaded

Does it mean the Kext for HD4000 not loaded that causes
the Install Fail? Any suggestions of how to fix this? Thanks.

Still no luck with my build, re-downloaded Lion 10.7.4 fresh from the app store, created a new Unibeast USB stick, installed Bridge Helper. Am able to select USB and the Apple logo comes up, but after the logo is on the screen for 1 minute, I get the circle with the line through it.

Intel Core I7-3770S
Intel Mobo DZ77BH-55K
EVGA Nvidia GTX570HD
16 GB 1600Mhz Ram (removed three modules during attempt to bring it down to 4gb)

EDIT - I am a Noob after all, forgot to type graphicsenabler=no at boot screen. At the install screen now.
