Regarding CustoMac Mini motherboard:
Yes, the mini pcie card inside the motherboard has bluetooth that works in 10.9 the wifi that is built into the same chip doesn't work in 10.9. A separate wifi card is recommended if needed.
Anyone has this board? Can you confirm that built in wifi doesn't work?
Thanks.

Hi guys :)
i'm going to make a custo Mac Pro running Mavericks with i7 4930k and GA-X79-UP4 (as well as the other hardware listed on this page).
I'm also interested in the Asus x79 Sabertooth mobo, but i would like to get an easier installation without being frustrated.
So which mobo works better for my purposes (i mean without too much troubles)?
Thanks so much guys for your effort!

Will the i3-4130 work? 4GB Ram works too?

I'd love to know this as well - particularly if there is any reason the i3-4130 would NOT work.

Go to the Gigabyte website. Enter the model # of the board in consideration/ hit return.
Then click on the CPU/Memory Support and downloads tab. Then select the cpu support list and
look for the E5-2680 V2 there to see if it is supported. Do the same on the Asus website if you
are looking to use one of their boards.

Some recommendations about 27" monitors?
I'm searching for a monitor with 2560x1440 resolution and IPS technology

Dell U2713HM is a good choice. All Ports are available with 2560x1440 resolution and IPS technology. Today I tested it with my HD 6850. Works Perfectly with full resolution. I just chose Duckweed frame buffer and AtiPorts=4.

Can one use DDR3 1333 MHz ram in a CustoMac Budget? I have 2x4GB that I'd love to be able to re-use.
