No I copied the latest bootx64.efi from 0.7.8 into my efi folder as I usually do.

Couldn’t get parallels to boot windows after the upgrade from .0.7.2

Reinstalling Monterey to hopefully fix tzinit issue. Will know if it works in a few hours, then will tackle the parallels issue.

Thanks again!

Hello, everyone. We have a problem

Wi-fi and Bluetooth are working, except airdrop can't find the device.

ThinkPad X220

OS X version : Catalina 10.15.7

Motherboard: QM67

The Bios: 1.46 remove the white list

Processor: i5 2540 m

Video Card: HD3000

wlan: bcm94352hmb

BrcmPatchRAM3 BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext BrcmFirmwareData.kext Lilu.kext AirportBrcmFixup.kext in kexts/other

After testing the installation of 10.13, I put Lilu.kext AirportBrcmFixup.kext BrcmPatchRAM2 BrcmPatchrepo to L/E according to the tutorial, rebuild the cache, both wireless and Bluetooth are normal, and the device cannot be found by airdrop.

Do not use this method to drive wireless and bluetooth, use AW-CE123H-10.13.0-v1.01 instead, wireless and bluetooth are normal, airdrop and airplay are normal

I don't know where the problem is and how to fix it

I've had that problem since Big Sur. Nothing I've tried has fixed it. Am on latest Monterey now.

I use Wifi using a M.2: BCM94360CS2. Wifi works fine, as does BT otherwise.

Not much help I know.

Does anyone know of a M.2 or PCIE-x1 card that is natively compatible on OSX, and is Wifi 5 or 6 and BT 5.x compatible? I believe we have the Intel Wireless M.2 working on Wifi, but not it's BT i/f.

Probably if any upgrade was available, I would have found it on this forum somewhere... :)

Guess I'm asking if Apple has made a M.2 Wifi card in systems since 2020, and has anyone tried to extract and use it on a Hackintosh?

Have a read of this Apple support page regarding WiFi capabilities in recent MacBook Pro systems.

As can be seen a large number of MacBook Pro's use the WiFi 5 (802.11ac) protocol, i.e. those that use the BCM94360CD 802.11ac card. While only the latest M1 MBP's use the WiFi 6 & 6E (802.11ax) protocol.

This might be an interesting read, comparing the WiFi protocols in M1 and Intel MBP's.

I can't find an Apple WiFi 6 card for sale. But if one were available I think it would use the Broadcom BMC4389 chipset.

I don't think they use Broadcom, and on the side note I don't think there is any device with Broadcom BMC4389 out there yet Apple or otherwise.

As I read the OC Wireless guide your BCM94360NG doesn't require either of those kexts, as it is using a chipset that matches a native Apple Card.

IF you want to use the kexts, then this is the data you need to select the correct kexts for the version of macOS you are using.

Dortania's Guide says:
But I am not shure.

I use that card in my laptop which requires no kexts

(only having a proper USBPorts.kext setup correctly)
