I've got an existing Hackintosh running 10.7.4 and I wanted to upgrade to Mountain Lion. So, I followed the UniBeast guide, but for some reason the installer only copied 7.7 MB of data to my USB drive. Figuring I missed some step, I took the InstallESD.dmg image out of the app (Show Package Contents->Contents->SharedSupport) and restored it to the USB, then ran UniBeast for ML afterwards. This is where I ran into the "Unable to find driver for this platform: ACPI" which caused a kernel panic every time. Adding my existing DSDT.aml and altering org.boot.chameleon.plist, or whatever the name was to point to the DSDT doesn't help. Is anyone else running into this problem?
Note: I know it isn't the BIOS or the hardware, I can boot into Lion fine.
Specs:
GA-Z68XP-UD3 rev. 1.0
Core i5 2500K (Sandy Bridge)
AMD Radeon HD 6850
8 GB Cosair Vengance DDR3 1600 MHz RAM
