Total noob here trying to convert my windows machine into a Hackintosh, but it keeps freezing at boot and when I get it to boot the ethernet adapter doesn't work.
My setup:
- Gigabyte z270x-Ultra Gaming
- Intel Core i7 7700k -- no overclocking
- Crucial Balistix 8GB RAM
- WD Green M.2 240GB SSD
- Strix GTX 980 Ti
The problems:
- I can't get it to boot from the SSD without using the Install USB without the computer freezing (I've followed this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.235474/ ).
- I can get it to boot after installing macOS High Sierra (by using the install USB) but the resolution is not adequate for my screen (2560x1080).
- The ethernet adapter doesn't work.
There is a picture of when the computer freezes, I booted it on verbose mode.
