When i watching video or listening music and pause it, when i resume it after 15sec+ on pause - it starts with 2sec delay (like soundcard initialises), also i have usb souncard for my headphones - it works perfectly without any delay.
All have same problem with sound like me?
No, I haven't seen that problem. Or at least, I haven't noticed it. I do get som popping on rare occasions when I start the music, but that might be due to my speakers...

I've had similar delays in audio "initializing" when paused and sometimes when I start a youtube video or a link with music. Seems to be a lag.

When I play through my firewire audio interface there is no delay.

Apologies for sorta hijacking the thread here, but could you post pics of your build? I assume you are using the Bitfenix Prodigy Black, right? I'm wondering if the case is as 'holey' as the pics on their site look. This is the only component I'm on the bench for, and that is just for choosing between black and white. Any chance of pics of your build somewhere?

BL.

"Holey" vs "Appley". That's why I went with the white. I appreciated the improved air flow of the black case but the clean look of the white case won me over. The black one didn't differentiate itself from my old Thermaltake and Rosewill PC cases. The Prodigy White just looks great to me. It sits in my living room - so it was style over substance this go round.

Hi guys. An update for you.
A great person MiniITX has had a couple of long nights working on this problem of mine.
MiniITX did a lot of remote programming and eventually I got sound. It turns out my z77n mobo only puts HDMI sound out of the bottom HDMI socket. I did also notice if you change sockets while the machine is on you get a broken screen, about five instances across. Reboot with the lead still in the same socket screen OK.
I run all of my devices through my Onkyo amp and everything works except this build. I asked MiniITX if I should plug it into my screen direct and with a bit more fiddling sound appeared. So now I have a build with a highly specialised DSDT, thank you MiniITX. Curiosity, being what it is, got the better of me so now I plug it back into my amp and hey ho no sound. Half an hour of changing settings in the amp got me nowhere. So out of desperation I changed out the HDMI lead and through the amp got sound, hoorah. That lead is now in the bin.
I then followed "Chips" build on another hard drive using the z77n f2 DSDT and everything worked as it was supposed to.

I have to apologise to MiniITX for not thinking of the lead earlier but as other devices have sent audio down that lead I had no reason to suspect it.

I will reinstate the SSD as it makes the machine quieter and its quicker than the 6GB/s sata drive.

You guys at Tonymac give us all a great deal of fun and community so thanks for taking the time for us.

Hi, I uses fakesmc and I have a gtx 650, but I cannot see "gpu fan speed" in fakesmc menu, and my gpu fan seems very loud, The newest multi beast doesn't have nvidia plug any more, how do I control the GPU fan speed?

I put a post on this thread earlier that you needed to use the BOTTOM HDMI out to make the sound work.

I have just successfully got my hackintosh up and running, same specs as "Chip" build except I have a GTX560, can confirm that it works with my USB 3.0 Seagate Essentials 2.0TB in the blue USB 3.0 port, it takes about 3mins to transfer a 12GB mkv file so I'm guessing it's working at USB 3.0 speeds, another thing is the Sleep function worked OOB for me after I updated to 10.8.2 (don't know if it worked OOB @ 10.8 because I updated straight away), not the actual HDD & Monitor Sleep but the the whole system powers down then wakes when I move the mouse or press a key, this guide was awesome and pretty straight forward, I'm waiting for my Dell DW1515 to be delivered and then I'll have a fully functional system!!! Yay!!! Thanks BitterMelon!!! :D

Hey,

got a question - since your customac looks very similar to mind - would you mind sharing your bios settings? What exactly have you changed from the "optimized defaults" and what you enabled in the MultiBeast?
