I'm using the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Performer in my Thunderball (sic) build. Works great and it's an AIO, closed loop cooler. It's been replaced by the Water 3.0 Performer. See the tonymacx86 April 2014 Buyer's Guide, CPU Cooler section for more information.
I've read some really good reviews on those cooler's by Thermaltake but have yet to try
one out. That's one on my todo list. So yes, take Stork's word for it and try the 3.0 model.
Liquid cooling is recommended if you will stress your cpu for long periods of time. If silence
is more important look into one of the Noctua Air coolers.
