Hi All,
I have a Lenovo u310 touch with the latest BIOS version (65CN99WW) and the BIOS has been set to settings that support OS X (a.k.a not set to Factory Settings). Recently my USB wifi dongle broke so I decided to buy an Atheros 9285 card so that I wouldn't have a problem with the dongle breaking again, but now I'm worried that I will have to reflash my bios and possibly brick my laptop.
Will I have to do this, or does the whitelist not block the 9285 card, seeing as the card comes shipped with the u410? If I do have to remove the whitelist, please tell me how I should go about doing so (what tools I should use to extract my bios, where should I post it online, etc.) Thanks in advance.
