Big Sur recoveryimage.dmg

Alrighty, I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks Feartech

@Feartech idk if you're the person who I should be asking this question to, but I only have a 64gb usb, and MakeInstall just spits out an error when I use my 64gb usb, but when I use my 2gb usb (which is too small to install the recovery image on), it gets past the first stage, whereas the 64gb usb doesn't even get to the "choose recovery image" phase. Is there anything I can do?

partition your 64GB to 32GB

But diskpart cleans the disk anyways as one of the first commands. Partitioning it won't make a difference.

the guide mentions to use a 16GB USB2.0 stick....

Yes, it will. Must be 32GB or 16GB. 64GB is too big ... and 8GB is too small for an EFI partition to be created.

:)
