[Solved] Bcm94352z bluetooth won't work

My laptop is Thinkpad T450s. The original wireless it Intel BGN card, and it won't work in Hackintosh. But after I search google and github, I figured that T450s can modify BIOS to remove or disable its whitelist. I finally made it. I bought a NGFF 94352z wireless card online. When I plug it in, I use RehabMan's patch to make the wireless work. It works well indeed.

But my bluetooth won't work. It can discover another bluetooth device. It can connect to my mobile phone and then disconnect automatic. I don't know why. And I hope it can drive my bluetooth earphone. It connected it. But there's no any sound.

Here's the log that executes:

  • grep -y brcmpatch /var/log/system.log

One more thing, the wireless works in Windows 8 and the bluetooth won't show in the device management. It's odd.

Anyone has any idea about this? Thank you for spending your time reading my post. And thanks to RehabMan and his great job.

Solution:
Use RehabMan's USBAllInjector.kext and PCIUSB3_Mutext.kext with DSDT, and SSDT patch. Also, please confirm that you deleted the old configration files in /Library/Prefrences/com.apple.Bluetooth*.plist and ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Blutooth*.plist. Reboot.

My bluetooth can't exchange files with my mobile phone.

Not a desktop. Moved to laptop support.

Try latest BrcmPatchRAM. It may have newer firmware. Also check your installation/antennas.

Thanks. My system is Ei Capitan 10.11.1. The kexts to drive the bluetooth are the latest one on Nov. 1st and are placed in Clover/kexts/10.11 directory. As for the wireless antennas, if it was not installed properly , the wireless may not work, besides the bluetooth, I think. But now the wireless works well. It's wired.

I'll check the installation later.

BrcmPatchRAM does not work well from Clover/kexts (without a bit of editing).

Installation is covered in the README. Make sure you read it.

Yeap. I check my wireless card again. It was OK.

I found that my blackberry or another mobile phone, connect and disconnect quickly.
My bluetooth do not have any sound. If I change the sound tab from output to input, choose the bluetooth device, the system is stuck.

Probably a firmware compatibility issue. BrcmPatchRAM loads the same firmware that the Windows driver would. You can try other firmwares.

Well, I tried the latest firmware, I failed.
Maybe there's something wrong with the bluetooth module, because it can't be recognized in Windows 8. I will change another wireless card with the seller. I saw some posts said that someone disable some pins of it for wireless problem.

In addition, the mac system only tells me that I have only a 4GB memory. while I have 4GB motherboard memory and 4GB memory in slot. It's also very wired. In Ubuntu live cd, it will be 8GB memory.

Could be a hardware problem. Windows requires drivers though...

Yeap! I'm appreciate for your advice. The memory info is right now! Thank you, RehabMan!

Yesterday, I had a look at the bluetooth info in my MacMini, I found that the bluetooth was under the USB 2.0 Controller. This morning I saw that my bluetooth was not present under any *HCI controller, while the camera and fingerprint was under the XHCI controller.

I think my bluetooth problem maybe caused by this. Also, BrcmPatchRAM upload the firmware of the bluetooth to a USB port. I also inject the USB definition, but maybe it not work properly.

Below is my ioreg and USB injector.kext's Info.plist file.
