It has issues on Yosemite. Not likely to be resolved -- the developer has stopped working on it.

Best result with native AppleUSBXCHI.kext.
 
So I just delete GenericUSBXHCI.kext? Or I have to patch AppleUSBXCHI.kext?

Just delete Generic. Then rebuild cache. Reboot. You'll then be using AppleUSBXHCI.kext. Getting sleep to work with it can involve DSDT patches.

What is the vendor/device-id of your device? Are you certain it is not already in the Info.plist?

Install to /S/L/E with Kext Wizard. Test.
 
Ok, it works.
Airdrop is OK; but Handoff isn't :(
 
Still not working...
I can enable Handoff, but I don't have the dock icon.
