Battery and sleep

Hi,

I have two problems on my laptop. These are battery indicator and sleep.

• I installed ACPIBatteryManager.kext and now my battery indicator looks like . It is all the time like this, regardless of whether it's plugged in or not. It also doesn't show any signs of drainage or percentage even though Show Percentage is checked, so the laptop turns off without any warning of any kind. Please see below.

• My laptop doesn't sleep when I close the lid. Well, it sleeps but goes back live about 2 seconds later. I've read https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/sleep-by-lid-close-wake-by-lid-openening.212641/ which suggests a fix, but in linked guide says hibernation is not possible. I thought hibernation and sleep are the same thing. Was I in the wrong?

How can I fix these?

This page mentions a _PRW patch. Do you mean https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/blob/master/misc/misc_Lid_PRW.txt ?

There is also a couple _PRW patches (0x0d and 0x6d) for "instant wake".

I applied this, and it stopped buzzing whilst waking back up. Other than that it still wakes up.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

My problem is that my laptop won't sleep when I close the lid. Well, actually it sleeps but awakes in 1-2 seconds.
Attached is the ZIP generated by gen_debug.sh. But when I ran it, it downloaded a different version of IORegistryExplorer.app
