Hi,

I have two problems on my laptop. These are battery indicator and sleep.
  • I installed ACPIBatteryManager.kext and now my battery indicator looks like Screenshot 2018-02-28 16.07.18.png. It is all the time like this, regardless of whether it's plugged in or not. It also doesn't show any signs of drainage or percentage even though Show Percentage is checked, so the laptop turns off without any warning of any kind. Please see below.

How can I fix these?

Sorry it took a while. Here are the files, and FYI, pmset -g assertions reported "Idle sleep preventers: IODisplayWrangler"

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

And you forgot to "describe problem in detail"...

My problem is that my laptop won't sleep when I close the lid. Well, actually it sleeps but awakes in 1-2 seconds.
Attached is the ZIP generated by gen_debug.sh. But when I ran it, it downloaded a different version of IORegistryExplorer.app
