I have a Lenovo Thinkpad E430, a laptop. Its specs are detailed here:
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/in/en/...laptops/thinkpad-edge-e430/solutions/PD024708
I got 10.12 sierra working perfectly (including audio) up until I updated to 12.5 yesterday. After that I've been facing the issue that I do not see any audio devices in System Preferences any more. My audio codec is Conexant 20671. I do not know how to get it working again. I tried Multibeast audio which failed to install. I then tried to use Voodoo HDA 2.8 which again did not work. After that, I tried to use vanilla AppleHDA and AppleALC by following this guide:
https://www.******.com/r/hackintosh/comments/4sil5p/audio_mechanic_old_patchfix_removal_applealc/
For the clover ID, despite the 20617 not being listed in the ALC wiki, I used 3 as all the other Conexant codecs used 3. It still did not work.
I am at a loss for what to do, could I have some advice and help?
