Look at the Y50 plist files on my github for an example.
Thanks,
I did add it to config.plist as in the Y50 .
rebooted nothing again !
tried different layout-id , the supported ones for ALC236 from the AppleALC repo.
I don't know what else to try :)
Thanks again for being helpful.
I'm attaching the debug_gen after the changes .

Maybe you deleted AppleHDA.kext...
Run the macOS installer to restore all kexts.

Looks like under your Devices/Properties/Devices/PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1f,0x3)=Properties Key layout-id Properties Value is set to 02000000.
Try to chance Value: 02000000 TO 0F000000.
With latest Liliu, AppleALC, Whatevergreen kext. installed L/E.
Hope it helps?

Thank you. I already tried all those layout-ids in their hexadecimal and decimal formats .
I checked the supported codecs for ALC236 and the deleted ones from Mojave.
I don't know where I missed something. did I use a patch I'm not suppose to.
After I tried many methods and a lot of reboots. I got enough I'll stick with Linux for now until something new shows up.

Sounds strange.
You have already tried to reinstall Mojave, as RehabMan asked?
Just in case this is the latest AppleHDA version in Mojave.
My Lenovo IdeaPad 720s have a same ALC236, and it's working with no problem!
I suggest you do clean reinstall, if you haven't already?
Hope you get to work!?
