Done. Installed ssdt_hdef-3-with_ioreg:hdef.zip

No sound. I attach the files.

Would the new patch help? Should I run it?

Hello,

Me again.

So, did a fresh instal and this time other audio works, which is a step in the right direction.
Tried popping the SSDT in the correct folder ACPI/patched but no luck. Tried as SSDT.aml and SSDt-2.aml as that is what I could gather was the correct thing to do?

I hope I get this right, and really hope you are able to help, have appreciated previous replies. Also to note, tried the automated instal and it didn't find intel or Nvidia audio.

Hmm... So HD4000 graphics were enabled UNTIL I used Clover to set ig_platform_id to 0166000A as recommended in post #935. When I used Clover to set this, HD4000 graphics were in fact DISABLED.
How did you enable HD4000 graphics previously?

Deja vue; IOReg shows display as pci-bridge@1,
Where did you see PEG0@1?

Set config.plist/ACPI/SSDT/DropOem/NO

I had HD4000 working OOB (from Multibeast), but I got it working.

I did a fresh install, ran Multibeast (with ALC 887/888B and HDMI Audio for HD4000 checked), still no TV option. Then, I used the new cloverHDMI-110 beta script and it worked like a charm. SSDT installed, booted with no KPs, and HDMI audio now working.

Files attached just in case they're helpful. I'd like to know what was going on, so I'm going to see if I can find the difference between my old logs and the current ones. If that information would be helpful, let me know and I can reply with my results. Thanks for the help and the excellent software.

remove config.plist/Devices/AddProperties/Item 0
set config.plist/Graphics/Inject/Intel/NO
reply with new files

Dear Toleda,

Thank you for all the help and support.

I attach the files.

I understood the above "remove config.plist/Devices/AddProperties/Item 0" as delete the key, so I did. It may not be what you meant, in which case I apologise.

I have changed /Graphics/Inject/Intel to false.

Computer starts, my graphics have been affected badly. No sound.

Could it be that the system definition to MacPro 3.1 causes the problem? Would trying MacMini help?

Again, many thanks!

Indeed.

PEGO 1 is in the IOReg you just have to drill down a little, I screen grabbed it last time. Assumed it was correct as it was the only one that matched with the ones you listed, am I wrong?

Also, with those same files, your auto script didn't detect my Nvidia or Intel.

Will change DropOem in Clover config.

Thanks again for all the replies.

DropOem/YES causes no graphics detection with 8 and 9 series motherboards
3rd request, set DropOem/NO
