Hey guys,

first time I'm posting here. I have a couple of issues running now post-installation but I'll just focus on one of them in this thread.
I have trouble getting my audio ports to work. I've connected my headphones to check if the installation of the Realtek ALC1150 was successful but no output device recognised by the system. The LED's on the front panel work though.

I have this weird feeling that it might be a hardware issue. I followed a guide while building my Hackintosh and it said that I had to connect the "AC '97" cable from the front panel to the motherboard. I didn't find any "AC '97" cable on the front panel. The only Audio cable I had was "HD Audio".

But besides that I have no idea what it could be. Any help would be really appreciated.

Here's my build:
  • Gigabyte GA H170 D3HP MoBo
  • intel i5-6400 CPU
  • Ballistix Sport LT 16Gb RAM
  • Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 2Gb OC
  • Samsung EVO850 250Gb SSD
  • Seagate Barracuda 1TB HD
  • Corsair VS 550W
  • TP-Link N900 WiFi adapter
