Asus z170i p/g sound issues osx 10.12

Hi,

I'm on my first build but would appreciate a bit of help with getting my hackintosh osx 10.12 to play sound (noob friendly solution) ??

You can use Rehabman’s CodecCommander.kext, using something like KextDrop to properly install it in /System/Library/Extensions. The original file doesn’t work for my Asus z170i. It needs its internal Info.plist editing correctly. One pre-edited version which worked for me is from here:

This is fully working for me now and audio works after waking from sleep.

Wooow thanks got it going now, I had to replace the entire config.plist
