my laptop has pentium T4300 with gm45 chipset, i know that voodoo 2.7.2 kext will work for audio and i have a compatible kext for wifi but i need to know the process to install mountain lion or better on this laptop preferably with usb

Attach output of 'lspci -nn' in Linux Terminal.
 
is that going to check the chipset? cause i noticed in some other t4300 posts u said gma 4500 is NOT supported, so i add to this that i have access to a external gpu and a gtx 750ti and a geforce gt 210 if either of those will be usable.

How do you plan to put those video cards in your laptop?

8086:2a42 is GMA4500MHD, which is not supported by any version of OS X/macOS.

I have no experience with egpu and OS X (or egpu at all). You might use search...
 
oh i know the egpu works, i just didnt want to have to use it on this specific laptop. thanks for your help, while this post is still here could you recommend a cheap laptop that would be good for installing osx on purely for browsing ect
