Thanks! That's what I currently am using, but I don't think that is the actual value that MacPro7,1's use as that is from an iMacPro1,1. Granted, not that there is much different between Intel's last few refreshes.

For me, SMBIOS MacPro 7.1 works:
- Boot without WEG kext (some purple lines appear)
- VegaGraphicsFixup.kext is mandatory
- PCI devices are shown correctly
- Memory warning if higher frequency 2133 MHz used
- Boot with screen from TBEX3 connected through USB 3.1 type C: disconnection / reconnection ok
- Hotplug with USB device connected on TBEX3 USB 3.1 type A
- CPU at about this Mac : 3,1 GHz Intel Xeon W 14 cores

Yep! With 10.15.1 you can boot with MacPro7,1. As Loloflatsix says, 0x0f01 displays Intel Xeon W and works without issue. I was just hoping someone knew the exact one. I remember one can look in the binary of some file, but can't recall which one.

So at this point, we need to find ways to make some changes:
- to obtain the correct PCI configuration at about this Mac
- allow a memory frequency greater than 2133 Mhz without warning message
But for now, the Mac Pro 7.1 is not available for sale and we have to wait to collect the Darwin dumps.

Seems a very good and promising start for X299 Hackins to use Mac Pro 7,1 SMBIOS.
