ASUS Vivobook S200 / X202 (Is it good?)
My guide is for S200 with HD4000 only - a really long string in config.plist is for HD4000.
If you have HD3000, you need a different string or maybe using other method for it to work.
I don't have HD3000 to try, but I'll look it up for you sometimes this weekend.
Update:
I just do a quick look.
Read this thread on how to generate the string: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/282631-hd3000-other-card-solution-by-efi-string-creation/
You can try the already generated string in the thread too to see if it works.
You also need to install back those HD3000 drivers that you deleted.
My suggestion is editing config.plist with the new string for HD3000, and try to boot into the installer. See if it works for you.
Update: I was able to get Mac OS X installed, but only by moving the HD3000 drivers completely out of the way. Note that the model I'm using has an HD3000, not a HD4000.
After Mac OS X was installed, I tried multiple means of getting the graphics accelerator going-- switching between the 10.8.3 and 10.8.2 AppleIntelHD* drivers, changing the amount of graphics memory between 64MB And 512MB... nothing worked. I absolutely could not get the machine to boot with graphics acceleration, and sometimes it would freeze outright on startup.
Anyone else having problems like this? How did you solve them?
