I know this is a bad comparing of your motherboard to mine (P7H55) but I have the same trouble with VIA codec.
I've installed a DSDT modification,so my system info reveals all the inputs and outputs, I'm using the modified VoodooHDA 2.7.2 to recognize the codec primary relatively to HDMI from my Nvidia GT240. So everything works even the Voodoo pref panel but the Premier Pro CS5. The application crashes when switching to something else. I've tried to remove voodooHDA.kext and Premier works. So I'm sure that voodoo locks the Premier sound subsystem.
