is the Asus gl503v supported it has a i7 7700hq 32 gigs of ram and a gtx 1060 6gig and what version (I saw a couple of posts about this exact laptop but not enough to know if its worth doing or not) and what stuff will be working and what wouldn't be working (I read that wifi won't and that's about as much as I could find)

Your system is Whiskey Lake isn't it? You could probably have a look at my guide here for a Whiskey Lake HP Notebook 17 which uses a similar chip (Intel Core i7-7500U). You'll need to disable your Nvidia dGPU however as laptop Nvidia cards are not supported on macOS, so use
-wegnoegpu in the NVRAM boot-args.

there is only gtx 1060 no intel graphics and i looked online it said that asus doesn’t enable the intel graphics on their rog lines of laptops
