I can remember having problems with a Zotac 710 and Big Sur a few years ago. So it's not a sure thing until it's tested in the system. Other brands would work but my Zotac fanless wouldn't.

Yes you can, because your iGPU, although supported in a 400-series motherboard, will not give you hardware acceleration in a 500-series. You can use the iGPU for compute tasks but not for fully working display output. All you will get is stuttering, slow, non-translucent effects and probably just 7mb video memory recognised.

Hello sir! I have a Gigabyte B560M paired with an i7 10700 and RX5600XT. Got Big Sur working perfectly but can't seem to enable iGPU properly to use sidecar (Apple Pencil works but black screen on iPad). I've read on this post that on B560M the iGPU won't work, is this true? Is there any way I can enable it to use sidecar? I really don't want to replace my mobo. Thanks!
