AppleUSBXHCISPT vs AppleUSBXHCIPCI... what does it all mean?

Hey there! Long time lurker here. I wonder if someone might know about USB 3.1/C

First, the build:
Gigabyte z170mx gaming 5
i7 6700K
NVidia GTX 960
32 GB RAM
Some stuff

Annoyingly, a few USB ports on the back have never really worked. I finally dug into the forums and got most of them working. Specifically, the USB 2/3 ports all work fine. The USB 3.1/C ports work but I can't see the speed or really anything else. I can't tell if they're working because USBInjectAll.kext or GenericUSBXHCI.kext or separately. It seems the wrong driver is loading?

I understand USB 3.1 isn't working in general yet, but If anyone has a suggestion for how to get these ports to use the proper driver and report the proper information I would really appreciate it! Thanks

They will work as USB 3.1 when macOS 10.12 is released.

The proper driver isn't a part of 10.11.

How did you get your USB ports to work? I have the same board. I had them working before upgrading to 10.12 but they died after upgrading. Thank you.
