I was also working on connexant codec from long time ,however I was successful in getting external mic without CC but no audio
I saw you SSDT and what was missing on my SSDT 0x24
how you get 0x24

:DMy had in and ex mic but no audio.

You can see them in codec.txt. I konw a little by reading high-definition-audio-specification.pdf. So I fixed successfully all mic. I told Mirone this news，but he have gone. I spent much time in fixing mic as well as saw other Conexant codecs. I would think it is useful for others without test. Because I‘m not expert in codec fixing unlike you. I hope the information is a little helpful to fix other codecs for you. And I wish you find a superior solution.:thumbup:

I remember me and Goodwin did same to fix external mic issue for ALC298
but I forgot due to was absent from hacksecene from more than a year

Hi，InsanelyDeepak. Do you know if headset line control function achieved by Apple EarPods on the codec？
 
Hi all, sorry to trouble you but I have question for CX20751/2 here
Do I need to patch AppleHDA kext or just apply the SSDT-CX20752.dsl and install CodecCommander.kext?

If patching is needed can you send me the link or quick guide for it? Thanks all.
