Apple Logo Continious spin 3770k+UD5

Hi people

System 3770k, Gigabyte Z77UD5H Wifi, 8gb muskin ram.

Trying to install ML however i keep getting stuck at the apple boot logo and cannot make it to the installation screen.

Did you try safe mode (-x as a boot flag)? I have the same MB and had the same problem when starting out a couple of days ago. Safe mode got me to the install screen - then I used the Multibeast parameter choices shown in the screenshot in this post to get everything else working (and by disabling Vt-d in the bios)

Good luck - it'll work great when you get through the startup pains.

Thanks, i tried but there is still no joy there is a comment that there is something wrong with the Unibeast drive. hmmm

A few pointers:

1) Check in your BIOS if your USB Unibeast stick reads as a UEFI device.
2) Disable Bluetooth, LAN, VT-d in BIOS.
3) Enabled Virtualisation, High Precision Event Timer in BIOS.
4) Check if your stick was formatted using Master Boot Record and Mac Extended (Journaled) format.
5) If there are still problems booting up, re-create your Unibeast stick or try another USB stick (as your current one could be faulty).
