Now running three DVI monitors, two of them using active adapters, the third is a 30" dual link DVI connected directly to the DVI port. Hope this helps someone in the same boat.

Am I right in assuming that you have connected 1 x Sapphire- and 1 x Accell-Adapter installed at the moment? What OS X version are you running at the moment? And what bootlist entrys? Any other graphics kext modifications made?
Is there something wrong with the Sapphire-adapter? My problem here in germany is, that an Accell-Adapter is hard to find and twice expensive than the Sapphire model (you have the new one connected - without USB connector, right?)
Sorry for my many questions but i am trying here to connect three 24" DVI displays for some days and tested many cards and adapters. I tested an XFX 5770, a XFX 6850, two NVIDIA 9800GT with many different results. 2 Displays were never a problem. Trying three makes me becoming
