Apple is said to be exploring a ‘Mac in a keyboard’ design reminiscent of the home computers of the 80s ie. Commodore 64/Amiga/Sinclair ZX Spectrum.

I want one, I was a C64 owner myself, will it come in beige & brown?.

Not sure about that. Perhaps you could customise it with spraypaint?

They should build a projector into the back of the keyboard, and charge $99 for a piece of white paper to project macOS onto. I'm guessing HDMI, DP or Thunderbolt will be needed to connect to a screen.

FYI this is what it could look like.

This is how I mix in Protools, it takes a couple of days to boot the session swapping all those floppies, but that C64 hackintosh is rock solid afterwards!

Read this article over the weekend, the 'SlabTop'
I've been doing the same thing with a 2011 MBP that had a failed hinge system. Rather than fix it, I disconnected the display and sold it. The resolution was so low and grainy that it was hardly worth spending hundreds to fix it. One benefit of doing this is that it can easily exhaust the hot air through the vents in front where the display would somewhat block them.
