<< Solved >> Apple Changed 10.13.6 Security Update to 17G6030> No Nvidia Drivers

I also confirm that .123 is loading and is being used by 10.13.6 and the latest security update ("macOS 10.13.6 (17G6030)"), but however it does not support the GTX 1050 Ti just yet (am running both GT-120 and GTX 1050 for situations like this).
NVIDIA will fix this soon for sure.
(thanks @iLikeHackintosh for the brew+webdriver steps, that worked like a charm)

... however it does not support the GTX 1050 Ti just yet
My GTX 1050 Ti OC (low profile) is working with 17G6030 and the 387.10.10.10.40.123 driver. The process is a little exotic, but all works well on both my 8th generation and 6th generation computers.

Have Not had a problem with these updates for a long time. This one is a problem for me though. I'm stuck with 10.13.6 (17G5019). I've tried SU and combo update. Both fail to install the update. Just keeps getting stuck in the process and restarts. I've tried successive times to boot into InstallMacOS and it always fails and restarts. Not sure what to do next. Even when I first restart after downloading the update, the "installing update" bar never moves.

Is this on your EX58 box? I am also stuck in a similar situation with my X58 system. Anyone with an older BIOS based system have the update work? I have tried multiple things today, rolling back to last good state after each attempt. Tried after just rolling back (system and EFI replaced from backups), tried the new replacement update, tried with NVidia drivers uninstalled - each time same result.

Update actually starts to install for me.
Gets to 'restart' step.
When clicking 'restart', OSX starts to shut down and then just stops with a black screen and cursor. Looking at the logs, background processes continue (and things like media eject key still works) and there are no errors/issues until I force power down the machine. It never 'hangs' just stops the shut down in a weird state. From that point on, the machine starts up fine - just won't shut down/restart without that 'black screen' at end and the update is not actually installed.

Very suspicious source!! I guess this source should be removed.

Webdriver.sh provides all official versions:

many thanks man, its worked after using homebrew and webdriver.sh
mac os 10.13.6 (17G6030) with but with driver 387.10.10.10.10.40.123 version.

Or perhaps sometimes one falls into a deep pit, and someone throws in an invisible rope...
Nah, one is simply stubborn and refuses to follow simple instructions. In such a case there's no external force which can change it.
webdriver.sh script just does it's job:
