WOOPS! Just tried to update my Skylake computer from build 17G5019 to Build 17G6029 from App Store and install nVidia Web Driver 387.10.10.10.40.123. But guess what? nVidia said it was not compatible. Then I checked the build number and it is 17G6030!!! and of course there is no Web Driver for that build number (yet). Bummer...

I suppose that some education wouldn’t harm?

The links are excellent, thanks. However in this case there is no Web Driver listed that will actually work on build 17G6030. (I would be happy to be proved wrong, though.) My main issue is with the Apple file having been titled Security Update 2019-002 and having its build number 17G6029 suddenly changed to... now... 17G6030, with no change in the file title. That is poor configuration data management. It blindsided me, and I don't appreciate it.

nVidia will probably release a new Web Driver that is compatible with 17G6030 in the near future, but I had previously waited days for the 17G6029 driver which is now obsolete due to Apple's sneaky trick.

"'Please note that Apple has released updated verison of 2019-002 (17G6030) security update. So if you already installed 2019-002 (17G6029) you have to install it once again." Where's the caveat? There is NO nVidia Driver for 17G6030 unless they released it in the last 30 minutes!

Yah I did and now the Nvidia web driver (387.10.10.10.40.122)does not work. Because it changed from (17G6029) to the following.

System Version: macOS 10.13.6 (17G6030)
Kernel Version: Darwin 17.7.0
Boot Volume: High Sierra (Migrated)
Boot Mode: Normal

Now I am back to waiting again for a working Web Driver!

Please read carefully!

But I HAD 387.10.10.10.40.123 and tried it. Trust me, it doesn't work! If the program above does something magic, I would need to know what it is! It may work on a GTX 970, but it does NOT work on a GTX 750 TI!

[Edit: Try linking to this page on Insanely Mac and read down starting from the 6th post on page 75.]
[Edit 2: OK, I downloaded Homebrew, installed Webdriver.sh, ran it in Terminal and now 387.10.10.10.40.123 is compatible with Build 17G6030. This Terminal stuff, X-code stuff, etc is VERY obscure, and I don't understand it, but it does work. Thanks for all the work whoever did to accomplish this!]
