Anyone use velcro in a case mod?

So I'm 90% finished with my mod, and am just figuring out how to mount my radiator and hdd tray. I've seen a lot of people over at overclock use velcro as it is cheap, easy, dampens sound, and is easily re-movable. Just curious if anybody has used it in their G5 case mod?

I have seen it once for attaching the G5 CPU Cover

Yep, used it to have the PSU "glue" down to the case

And for cable restraint, in place of plastic zip ties.

I velcro'd the 5 bay HDD rack in, use good quality velcro and you'll be fine. I usually have a selection of 3M Dual lock on hand.

I'm definitely using it to keep my PSU in place on the bottom of my case, and the HD tray and disc drive in place on the top shelf.

Also, does anbody know where to buy a cord like this in the U.S.?


Nevermind, found it. Just google C14 to C13 cord and newegg, tigerdirect or amazon have 'em.
