[UPGRADED] ASUS Prime B550M-A AC — Ryzen 7 5700X — Radeon RX 6700XT

Updated build portrait in OP to match current hardware, and added the Seasonic PSU to parts list.

Successfully updated to Sonoma 14.3 via the incremental update in system settings, using the boot-arg 'revpatch=cpuname, pci, sbvmm'. I did something silly and accidentally deleted my config.plist from the EFI, but we're all good and as a consequence fixed a bug in HackinDROM. I also removed AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext, SMCAMDProcessor.kext and the AMD Power Gadget, neither of which have been updated for over a year and are probably not fully compatible with macOS Sonoma, I had an issue where my 5700X wasn't boosting past it's base of 3.6Ghz.

@craighazan Did you notice any difference when you removed AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext, SMCAMDProcessor.kext ?

Definitely a yes, I’ve removed the app and kexts from all three of my AMD builds. The 5700X system has benefitted most, feels more responsive and not restricted to the base GHz. It’s a shame, I hope the app gets updated because it’s definitely a looker, but it doesn’t seem all that compatible with Sonoma.

I'm reluctant to update to 14.4, so I'll sit on 14.3.1 for the 5700X & 6700XT for now. The NootRX.kext continues to improve though and that's reflected in a GB6 bench hitting its highest yet 174K, and also demonstrated in SD, churning out 512x512 25 step images in 10 seconds!. Windows 11 gaming oooof!, the 144MHz refresh rate from the 27" curved Dell combined with the 6700XT is a real visual treat!. Is it just me or does Windows 11 just feel clunky compared to macOS?, like it's held together with Duck Tape.
