I have actually installed using Unibeast and its working pretty good...

Sound works with VooodooHDA 2.8.4 , i dont know if mic is working or not yet.. i will check that later tonight when i get home..

otherwise, its fine.. and yes power management is not working as of yet..

There are kexts for PM on Mav... try Googling "AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext 10.9" ;-)

Which DSDT etc are you using too?

Make sure you follow the sticky guide for power management at the top of this forum.

At the Cham/Chimaera loadscreen I get:

Unable to handle key current-network
Unable to handle key preferred-networks
Unable to handle key MLB
Unable to handle key ROM
Unable to handle key SystemAudioVolume
Unable to handle key backlight-level
Unable to handle key boot-game
Errors encountered while starting up the computer
Pausing 5 seconds...

I'm sure its not important but it does bug me (and waste 5 seconds which irritates if you have a fast SSD to speed things!)

What is the contents of your /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist?

What version of the boot loader are you using?

DUnno how to check Chimera version but will install latest and see if it makes any difference. BTW I do have WIndows and Linux also installed....

INSTALLED Chimera 2.2.1 and the detailed error messages went away but I just got "Errors encountered whilst starting computer - pausing 5 seconds" so no real change!

I would try eliminating some of the (unnecessary) things in your boot.plist...

device-properties: Use instead: IGPlatformID=01660003
SMBIOSdefaults: not sure what this does
DSDT: not necessary (/Extra/dsdt.aml is the default)
SMBIOS: not necessary (/Extra/smbios.plist is the default)

Couldnt work out how to do the 1st of those but did 2-3-4 and no change.... VGA works fine though as always has with that "fix". I should look at a Verbose boot I think?

Loads a gazillion kexts and says Errors message as before, BEFORE it resets the font and starts loading the main crap.. which also has a few odd error messages.. but nothing really revealing. Its the lot which add 5s to bootup I wanna stop!

Get rid of the device-properties, replace with:
<key>IGPlatformID</key>
<string>01660003</string>
