you will need to fix up 0.7.4 as that is required for Monterey
Yeah 0.7.4 is set up on the installer usb and gives me the bootloop I mentioned above
 
Right, any insight on that?
i can only reply and respond with the information given.... and whatever files are uploaded.... in this case none.....
 
Boot loops in phase 1 are almost always Apple Secure Boot related. Make sure secure boot model = "Default".

Edit: you may need to restart installation as well once you change the secure boot model.

same here with GM Monterey:

after message could not install firmware-update i changed smbios to iMac16,2 installation passed message

after succesfull complete installation i changed smbios back to iMacPro1,1

with clover 5141

Not needs OC 0.7.4 (maybe work with 0.7.3)

Success with Clover 5141 (It based OC 0.7.3)

I was waste 10 Hours for it (edit config, add driver, etc but not fixed -> check recent OpenCore changed source&find it)

I want no more people 'waste of time'

damn man seemed promising! but didnt work for me :( used 0.7.3 and AdviseFeatures=True
Does it need 0.7.4?

Now if anyone has any insight on the instant reboot when clicking shutdown or reboot...
But thanks again! Has installed and is booting properly! :D
