Hi,

I have recently built a hackintosh for myself and it installed okay with boot flags -v PCIRootUID=1 and GraphicsEnabler=No. I was happy that everything went smooth but after using my machine for around five minutes, my screen just crashed I was thrown back to the login screen and once I log in, a popup window with 'A graphic problem occurred... " appears... this happens even after i log in again and would never go. My dialogue boxes go black and all my menu goes black as well....My graphics card, GTX 760 works OOB but I don't know what is going wrong. I have re-installed it several times, by clover and chameleon but the problem persists. I have even tried web drivers for my NVIDIA but no avail....I need to get my hackintosh running for work...help me guys...

My Machine specs

Motherboard: Gigabyte z87-d3h
Processor: Intel I7 4470K
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 760

Thanks in advance....

-VX

UPDATE: After tons of research I came over some solution for other people to install Yosemite without their graphics card plugged in and reconnecting after they have installed the OS. For me, sadly, it didn't work....problem still exists. I also ran over a post of similar nature and the verdict was a faulty graphics card....I'm still don't believe that my graphics card is bad as it works perfectly in mavericks....please help!!!

I think it is to do with your PCIe Graphics card to be the primary video output. Don't know much about boot flags in detail though. It does some motherboard to boot into OS X.

I'm pretty sure 10.10.1 and the latest drivers for that fix this issue. Otherwise use the f01 or f02 drivers instead of f03... but the latest ones with the 10.10.1 update has fixed this for most people.

Any updates on that problem?

I'm still having the same problem after updating to 10.10.3, and reinstalling without my GFX card.

My system is built on Clover, and the specs are as follows:

g41mt-s2pt rev2.1
Evga GeForce GTS 450
