6870 not working properly in ML

it comes up as 6xxx, once i made my unibeast flash drive i removed the ati6000 kext i did the install i dragged the kext to the desktop, ran kextbeast and it still didnt work. please help i have been trying to get it working for ever!

mine is a gigabyte also, and i tried that it still didnt work but i will try again! i think i have reinstalled the os around 15 times now........

Your CPU has an integrated GPU so there is no need for you to go in and delete kexts, just pull your card, and use the onboard DVI with your HD3000, do the install and plug your card back in. It will work after you finish the install.

What brand 6870 do you have? Mine is a gigabyte model and I posted a success thread on my build.

check your bios
make sure you disable vga onboard and select that there is a GPU in the slot.
it shall then work
