Skylake Starter Guide

So I have tried several things and this is where I am at.
I have tried to follow the guide in regards to the audio.

I most likely have entered it incorrectly into the config.plist.

So I install the ALC1150 audio with multi beast and then modify the config.plist?
but still no audio?

If someone can show me how I'd be truly grateful as to where I'm going wrong!

Hey Chillout,

I'm on almost the same rig as you.

I installed the ALC1150 from Multibeast, added the following only to config.plist (which you've got):

<key>Patches</key>
<array>
<dict>
<key>Comment</key>
<string>Rename HDAS to HDEF</string>
<key>Find</key>
<data>
SERBUw==
</data>
<key>Replace</key>
<data>
SERFRg==
</data>
</dict>
</array>

and then I ran toledo's audio_RealtekALC fix (https://github.com/toleda/audio_RealtekALC/archive/master.zip). Unzipped, and dragged the audio_realtekALC-110.sh file into Terminal and hit return.

Audio appeared for me after that which I was pretty bloody pleased with. :D

Anyone who know what is causing this problem in the boot sequence?
Yesterday my build worked flawlessly 10.11.2. Today when i go to boot up the system it hangs at the apple loge loading screen with the loading bar fully loaded.
In -v it keeps retrying enumeration and fails after 8 attempts
FullSizeRender.jpg
Any way to fix it or is it a complete reinstall?

I've got a Gigabyte Z170 HD3 mobo and i5-6500 CPU, and after following the amazing instructions here and http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-desktop-guides/178197-guide-el-capitan-skylake-h170n-wifi.html have most things working with El Capitan.

Unfortunately, I still am unable to get my Ethernet working, and as a result (I think) my App Store / Message.

I've followed all the instructions I could find in these two posts (and elsewhere), including installing the drivers found here http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/1...-skylake-100-series-motherboards-testing.html.

My ethernet is set to en0, and my WiFi works. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Happy to share more details if that would be helpful.
