Be careful buying a TV that isn't a true monitor... I heard and read somewhere that in the case of the Seiki that it will only do 30 Hertz in 4K and would lag really bad even just moving the mouse. Trying to run games was even worse they said. Not sure if that info is true or not but it's worth...

Is your usb keyboard wired or wireless? Either way...If you haven't already try different usb ports preferably the usb 2 ports.

Well wildwillow I took your advice and went and picked up a DP to HDMI adapter and I now have sound from HDMI! :thumbup: Not sure why it wouldn't work on the HDMI alone but hey... I have a fully functional Hassy Hack that is a hell of a lot better than what I could ever get from the Apple Store...

Yeppers... Everything just as it said. I just plugged in some speakers to the green port on the back and I get sound if I set it to Internal Speakers. Is your sound coming from your IGFX or your dedicated graphics from HDMI? I haven't installed my GTX 770 yet so my HDMI is coming from the IG.

Native resolution on this monitor I believe is 2560X1600. I did look in System Preferences/Displays and if I choose scale it only gives me 3 choices and nothing over the 1920X1200. But if I hook it up to my Vizio TV it defaults to 1920X1080p. I'm at a loss on both...
