Hi Rehabman,
i have a really old Desktop build: asus motherboard (p67) with i5-2XXX (sandy bridge).
I have extracted the DSDT but have no idea which patches should i apply.
Should I also apply all the common patches you mentioned?
"Fix _WAK Arg0 v2"
"HPET Fix"
"SMBUS Fix"
"IRQ Fix"
"RTC Fix"...
Hi RehabMan,
Problem:
OSX Version: 10.11.5 (15F34)
I wanna capture the FN+Left/Right key, but failed.
I did as the tutorial wrote: Install ACPIDebug.kext -> Patch Debug Mode -> Patch EC Queries -> Reboot Check System.log
I saw ACPIDebug was loaded, but pressing fn+left/right won't generate any...
Hi Rehabman,
I was trying to capture the fn+up/down key and followed your tutorial in my new El Capitan

[FIX] Intel HD4400/HD4600 Mobile on Yosemite
Hello all,
how can i convert this "perl patch" for HD4400 to a "clover patch"? is there already any available "clover patch" which i can use immediately?
it seems not to be problem of hibernatemode...
today i have also met this again under hibernatemode 0.
the failed sleep log is:
is it due to the Wifi card??? because i found that the successful sleep is as follow:
Is there any method to track what stopped the sleep?
Thanks Rehabman,
i would have a try! but i couldn't tell if it works immediately, it takes time because this situation appears accidentally.

Hi, a noob question:
should i also copy the edited IOKitPersonalities/HDA Hardware Config Resource/HDAConfigDefault to the Info.plist in the AppleHDAIDT.kext?
it seems that it was not mentioned in your thread :P
thx Rehabman!
but i still wanna know how did you get those datas..
and what does the prefix "3d" for? i haven't seen this in poke's post.
and one more question, is this patch available for all versions of OS X including Yosemite? or should i seek for a new data replacement for Yosemite?
hi poke,
is the original find data "8419D411" same with every device? how can i get such a number?
i have a ALC282 which whose code is 10EC0282, so i should patch like : 8419D411 - 8202EC10?
Thanks in advance
Hi Rehabman,

So i wonder if now you already have the plan to improve Voodoo-PS2-Controller with 4/5 finger gesture for a larger TouchPad.
yeah was indeed loaded :(
so no any other solutions? :banghead:
and what also strange is, is that in OS X Installer it's possible to shutdown correctly
