doesn't the system report tell you the type of chipset? I mean if I look at my system report under wifi, the firmware version is labelled "Broadcom BCM43xx..." It does not give you the exact model but it gives you an idea of the series of chipset that is used.

Yep it is set to default. What does the restrictevent.kext and the boot arg do? I am toss between trying the boot arg or the full installer. Or simply wait for Sonoma.
