I can confirm that there is a problem with the Audio Kext on ALC898 on Z87X-UD3H, the audio comes and goes in random occasions and also after wakeup, it comes back if you sleep and wake again but then is shortly gone, this happens either with SMBios 3,1 or 6,1 does not make a difference...

Try the usual, lower RAM frequency or increase voltage from 1.5v to 1.65v and test your RAM with MemtestOSX as RAM is the primary suspect in freezing, if not then it could be a number of other things .. Some report system definition ... network kext .. etc.. It could even be your BT mouse, try...
